Why do girls attack you and stuff and then tell you they like you? This girl that kicks me, bites me, punches me, takes my stuff, and just plain chases me around asked me to the dance. I don't get it.

My Laugh for the Day!

Imagine my surprise this morning when one of my beautiful blessings asked me this most interesting question: "Mom, is it illegal to hold someone's sausage?"

After a minute or two, I was finally able to ask for some clarification.

The question in Danielese.... "Mom, is it illegal to hold someone hostage?"

Let the morning bring me word of Your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in You. Show me the way I should go, for to You I lift up my soul. My Prayer for Today...

Dear God,
Today I just want to take time to thank You for old friends; friends from younger years and through different stages of life. Oh how they helped teach me, encourage me, and enrich my life. Sometimes their influence was not so good, other times it was wonderful. We learn from our mistakes as well as the things we do right. Each friend has been special in their own way. Some have gone on from this earth to be with You. Others...well only You know. I pray for those who still trod this earth. I pray for their souls and their lives; that they will be Yours and You will bless them. I pray for their special needs, that You will meet each one in the way You know best. I pray that they will feel this prayer on their behalf and experience a gentle breeze from the moving of Your Holy Spirit and receive the message and the blessing You have in store for them. Thank You, friend above all friends, my Creator and Savior. In Jesus' name, amen.

Holy Spirit, Move in Me...

Dear God,
Sometimes I get really frustrated and even angry when I believe someone has wronged me, not lived up to their promises, let me down. But, people are not perfect. I pray that I will be someone who is always dependable, ethical, and honest. I pray that You will help me to always do what is right, even when wronged. As the old saying goes, "two wrongs don't make a right." So when I'm tempted to react in the flesh, move in me through Your Holy Spirit that I will remember to stop, take a deep breath, and pray so that I may respond in a Christlike manner. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.
