Love this picture. It was taken shortly after mom and dad were married. The house they lived in was in a very large compound of similar houses. Grandpa and Grandma Wassman, Grandma and Grandpa Gehring, Uncle George and Auntie Irene and several other family members lived in the houses on this property. It was known, by family members, as the Wassman Estate. It was located on Keamoku St. in Honolulu. All of us kids had a great time playing in the large yard.
A little glimpse into the wild and wooly world of me, my husband Ben, and six of ten children between us. Much fun is found in our home as we grow together as a family, and embrace the chaos that surrounds us! We are Christ followers and desire nothing more than to bring glory and praise to Him who reigns supreme.
Dedication
In loving memory of our beloved daughter and sister, Sara Elizabeth, who was born and died on February 13, 1998.
Sara is absent from our life today, but her memory touches each of us deeply, and daily. And so it is I choose to honor her here.
We look forward to that wonderful day when we are reunited to spend eternity together. Oh what a day of rejoicing that will be.
