My Joseph

Dearest Joseph,
No matter how tall you are,
or how much strength you acquire,
or how handsome and intelligent you become...
I will always have the privilege of being your Mom.
Thank you.
It is that privilege that brings joy to my soul,
laughter to my heart,
and peace to my mind.
I love you.

Psalm 127, A Pilgrim Song of Solomon

1-2 If God doesn't build the house, the builders only build shacks. If God doesn't guard the city, the night watchman might as well nap. It's useless to rise early and go to bed late, and work your worried fingers to the bone. Don't you know he enjoys giving rest to those he loves? 3-5 Don't you see that children are God's best gift? The fruit of the womb his generous legacy? Like a warrior's fistful of arrows are the children of a vigorous youth. Oh, how blessed are you parents, with your quivers full of children! Your enemies don't stand a chance against you; you'll sweep them right off your doorstep.

MK Wisdom

"When you are unsure about what is right and wrong, let the Golden Rule be your guide. Of course, a compassionate and benevolent person is sometimes put in the position of causing stress to others. Whether running a business or a family, this comes with the territory of leadership. Doing the right thing doesn't always mean doing the popular thing."

"Spring" by Aimee

Spring is here, flowers and bees and girls and boys. Warm weather and friends playing, girls and boys all gather around at a picnic. All sorts of things like butterflies and moths flying around in the sweet sun. Everybody having fun, no more naughty children because all they do is have fun fun fun.

Sam's Question O' the Day!

Why do girls attack you and stuff and then tell you they like you? This girl that kicks me, bites me, punches me, takes my stuff, and just plain chases me around asked me to the dance. I don't get it.

My Laugh for the Day!

Imagine my surprise this morning when one of my beautiful blessings asked me this most interesting question: "Mom, is it illegal to hold someone's sausage?"

After a minute or two, I was finally able to ask for some clarification.

The question in Danielese.... "Mom, is it illegal to hold someone hostage?"

I admit to still giggling!
